The Legation to Rome

Message to Rome
Royal Coronation – Gniezno 2024
The Messenger to Rome exhibition is a unique journey into history, bringing closer one of the most important moments in the history of Poland – the Royal Coronation in Gniezno.
The exhibition, prepared by Waldek and Dawid Stube, combines history with a modern view of reconstructing ancient events. Through unique photographs, re-enactments and historical materials, it shows not only the significance of the envoy to Rome, but also the atmosphere of the times when Poland was shaping its sovereignty and position in Europe.
This exhibition is not only a story about the past, but also part of the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the royal coronation, which takes place in 2025. It’s an extraordinary opportunity to remember what an important political and religious center Gniezno was – the city where the Polish monarchy was born.

Discover history anew and feel the spirit of medieval Gniezno!
